My Travel Bucket List

Up until recently, the idea of going away anywhere too far used to scare me. I’ve never been great at flying and so anywhere I could get by car was more appealing to me. But, having said that, this year I have travelled a lot more than usual. I visited Spain and Italy and also flew to Ireland with family. I realised that I am so grateful to have been able to visit such lovely places and so definitely want to visit more places. In today’s post, I wanted to write a travel bucket list. This is obviously a long-term list (I am not planning on going to all these places soon), but I thought it would be fun to be able to look back and tick of places on my travel bucket list in the future.

• More of Ireland •
I have been to visit family in Ireland quite a few times. I absolutely love it there and would love to see more of it. I find the scenery so calming and always love being there, so anymore that I can explore of Ireland would be amazing.

• Vietnam •
When I was about 15, there was a school trip to Vietnam. I didn’t go on the trip, but there were so many beautiful pictures from people who went, and everyone said it was such an amazing place. Since then, I have always wanted to visit.

• Canada •
I am not entirely sure where my longing to go to Canada comes from, I have just always wanted to visit. It is a place that really appeals to me. I remember seeing one of Shay Mitchell’s YouTube videos where she was in Canada and thinking it is a place I really want to see.

• New York •
A few people I know have recently been or have booked to go to New York. It looks like such an amazing place to visit for a few days. Also, I would love to go to some of the Irish bars there, they look so much fun.

• Greece •
I would love to visit Greece. Santorini and Mykonos seem like such calm and peaceful places and I would love to explore them and spend some nice, relaxing time there.

• New Zealand •
New Zealand is somewhere I would love to visit. From the pictures I have seen, it looks absolutely incredible and I would love to see it with my own eyes and experience New Zealand myself.

• Philadelphia •
The reason I want to go here is simply because of the Rocky movies. Me and my Dad used to watch the Rocky films all the time when I was younger, and I just want to run up the stairs from the film haha!

• Australia •
My Mum and Dad visited Australia together when they were in their 20s and my sister recently went to the same places they did with the same people. They all say it is such an amazing place and I would love to experience Australia like they did.

That is everything on my travel bucket list so far – there are so many amazing places to visit in the world, so I am sure this will grow over time.
