Music Monthly Favourites | November 2018

In November I found lots of music that I love. Finding new music to listen to is honestly one of my favourite things to do. I love finding songs that I want to listen to on repeat, and that has happened quite a few times this month. It has been a good month for music and so, like always, I thought I would sit down and let you know the music I have been loving and listening to throughout November 2018.

• Gerry Cinnamon •

In November, me and my sister went to Leeds to watch The Courteeners perform (who were so good by the way). Whilst waiting for the Courteeners to come on, the support act – Gerry Cinnamon – performed. He was absolutely amazing, genuinely one of the best people I have seen live. At the time, I didn’t know his songs and I was still up dancing to his music – which I always think says a lot about a performer. I can’t express how good he was live, and I haven’t stopped listening to his music since. A few of my favourite songs are; Belter, Lullaby, Sometimes and Keysies.

• Thank U, Next – Ariana Grande •

I feel like this one goes without saying – it would be in pretty much everyone’s music monthly favourites this month. I absolutely love this song and the music video came out the other day which was iconic! Me and my friends were all in the pub when it came out, and we sat with the sound on full watching the video together. Honestly Kris Jenner’s appearance was amazing and the whole video was fab! Love that song, it’s so catchy and fun to listen to and also has such a good message.

• Ghost Town – Kanye West •

I had heard this song before this month, but I came across it again when the Kardashians put Kanye’s concert on their social media. I re-listened to it then and kept listening throughout the month. The song is on my ‘Gym’ playlist and it is perfect for it. I just love Kanye’s music and this song is no different.

• LM5 •

Little Mix are one of my favourite bands. I love that they are 4 strong, independent women singing about their experiences as well as spreading a positive message. Their new album is so good – I rarely order the physical copy of albums but I really wanted a copy of LM5. My favourite songs on the album are; Strip, The National Manthem, Wasabi and Woman Like Me.

• Elvis Presley •

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that towards the end of the month I have been listening to so much Elvis. I absolutely love Elvis songs and when I was scrolling through YouTube, came across videos of him performing. He was such an amazing performer and his songs are great. I can’t stop listening to his music recently. My favourite songs right know (although it is quite hard to pick just a few) are; Trying To Get To You, That’s Alright, I Can’t Stop Loving You, An American Trilogy and If I Can Dream.

• Love Of My Life – Queen •

If anyone hasn’t seen the film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ yet I would 100% recommend you go and see it. I loved Queen music before, but watching the film made me love their songs even more and find a few new ones to listen to. Love Of My Life is one of my friend Evie’s favourite Queen songs. I have been listening to it so much the past few weeks. If you have seen the film, you will know that this song is such a big part of the movie and it is so good.

So, there are my music monthly favourites for November. I can’t believe next month will be the last one of these posts in 2018! This year seems to have flown by. Let me know in the comments; what music have you been loving this month?
