This weekend I went with my family to Leith, near Edinburgh in Scotland. I had the loveliest few days spending time with family and eating so much lovely food. If you’ve read ‘My Favourite Films’ blog post, you’ll know that ‘Sunshine on Leith’ is one of my favourite movies, and so visiting Leith for the first time was pretty exciting. It is such a lovely place and I would highly recommend visiting if you’re nearby – especially for the food!
Like I have said, there are so many delicious food places. For breakfast, I would definitely recommend ‘Toast’. I had the American Pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and it was so tasty! My family all had different thing with eggs, and they looked amazing. Toast had such a cool atmosphere as well – it was pretty busy which is always a good sign. There were pastries and cakes as well as fab coffee and tea too! For dinner I would suggest 'Nobles'. I had the steak and it was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had – I absolutely loved it. again, the atmosphere was really cool and cosy, I really enjoyed our evening there. The staff were so lovely as well. We also at at the most amazing fish restaurant called 'The Ship'. I am normally quite fussy with fish, but I absolutely LOVED everything on the sharing platter we had.
