My Smoothie Bowl Recipe

I love to find new recipes to experiment with and try out. I had heard of smoothie bowls quite a bit, and so I finally decided to give my own a try. I went to the shops and bought some fruit and milk and a few other different ingredients. Having made and tasted the smoothie bowl now, I really enjoyed it and am sure I will be making more a lot of the time. So, I thought I would share my recipe with you. I have taken inspiration from other recipes and the fruits used can easily be adapted to your own favourites.


Ingredients

· 150g Frozen Fruit
· 50g Granola
· 100g Strawberries (chopped)
· 300ml milk
· 1 Banana (chopped)
· (Extra chopped strawberries and bananas for topping)


Method

This recipe is super simple. Essentially, defrost the frozen fruit, then blend together with the strawberries, milk and banana. Once this has all been blended, pour into a bowl, and finish with the granola and the extra strawberries and bananas for the topping. Then the smoothie bowl is ready to eat!



Like I said, this is a really simple recipe, and really tasty. Also, this makes a fairly big smoothie bowl, so you can always save some of the blended fruit for the next day. Let me know on twitter (@Eve_Martha_) if you make this recipe!
