How To Be A Morning Person

I would like to consider myself a morning person. Obviously, there are days when I’d much rather stay in bed, but recently I have been trying to get up early every day and be more productive. So here are my tips to become a morning person.


• Alarms and Don’t Scroll •
This is a relatively obvious one but setting an alarm away from your bed makes you physically get up in the morning out of your bed. Also, getting up to turn off your alarm and going straight to get breakfast stops you from scrolling through social media and even leaving your phone in your room for a bit is a more refreshing way to start the day.


• Lists the Night Before •
This is something that I find super helpful in trying to be a morning person. The ‘TO-DO’ list could start with something as simple as making your bed and getting some breakfast. Writing a list in the morning not only gives you something to do as soon as you wake up, but also makes you feel productive and as though you are achieving something right away.


• Music •
I always love to have music on throughout the day, but especially in the morning. Putting on my favourite music sets the mood for the day and also makes me feel more awake and productive, which is a great thing if I am struggling to be a morning person. Music is a great thing, and good songs is perfect to feel ready for the day. The 'Have A Great Day' playlist on Spotify is one of my favourites.


• Let the Day In •
Going outside and getting some fresh air is a great way to start the morning. It instantly makes me feel more refreshed and getting outside is so much better than scrolling through social media inside. Even just opening a window first thing is so good to let the day in and feel more awake with the fresh air.


I think it can be quite difficult to become a morning person but doing these things has really helped me to feel more awake and refreshed first thing. I wold love to know in the comments; what are your top tips to become a morning person?
