Life Lately #3: Into 3rd Year & New Vlogging Series

It’s been a little while since I sat down and did a good old catch up blog post. Mainly because we have all be living a very similar reality over the past few months, and I wanted to focus on the positives here on my blog and write about those moments and reflections in optimistic ways. So today, I have a few little bits that I wanted to chat about and update you on in keeping with focusing on the good - so I hope you enjoy today's catch up and that you are doing well.

Life Lately #3: Into 3rd Year & New Vlogging Series

Into 3rd Year

As I am writing this post, I am about 2 weeks away from starting my 3rd and final year of uni. For those of you who are new to my blog, I am (going to be) a 3rd year Sociology student, and this year I am also going back to commuting as I did in 1st year. I am really looking forward to the start of uni. Even though things will look different going into this year, I am excited to have the structure and focus of university life. I also have lots of plans to document the commuting side of my experience more this year. I’m starting a new vlogging series called ‘The Commuter Diaries’ and I’m really looking forward to showing you this aspect of my university life, because I really do love commuting.

A New Vlogging Series

Speaking of new vlogging series, I have also recently started another new one called ‘Postcards’. These will be vlogs of my days or weeks, where I capture some of my favourite moments. The first of these has just gone up on my channel (which I will leave below), and I really enjoyed editing it together and sharing it with you so I am really looking forward to making more videos in this vlogging series.

The Ukulele

Over the past few months, I have been picking up my ukulele more and more, and really enjoy learning new songs. Some of my favourite songs to play at the moment are; 8 by Billie Eilish, Coffee by Beabadoobee, Cherry by Harry Styles & A Certain Romance by Arctic Monkeys. I really love the sound of the ukulele as an instrument, and I love finding new songs to learn.

Those are my main updates today! I enjoy writing these posts, so I'm definitely going to do more moving forward. And I would love to know in the comments; what have you been grateful for recently?
