Music Monthly Favourites | December 2019

Music Monthly Favourites | December 2019

It's nearing the end of December (and 2019, I can't believe how fast 2020 is coming around!), and so naturally I thought I would sit down and write my music monthly favourites post for this past month.

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - George Michael and Elton John

Earlier this month, I had been listening to a lot of Elton John's version of this song where it is just him singing, and so went on youtube to watch a live version of this song. I came across George Michael singing it with Elton and absolutely loved it. I have been listening to it so much since then and I feel as though both George and Elton's voices really compliment each other on this track.

Cold Arms - Mumford and Sons

This song had been on my playlist for quite some time, but I found myself listening to it a lot more throughout December. It is such a calm song and I really love the vocals on it - lovely to sing along to.

Step into Christmas - Elton John

This has for sure been one of my favourite Christmas songs to play this year. Not only was it the first song I played on 1st December, but the fact that it is used in the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special trailer this year makes it all the more festive.

Oh! Darling - The Beatles

This is one of my all time fave Beatles song (and song in general). I just absolutely love this song - I love the vocals, how the song builds and the energy behind it. LOVE IT!

Hard to Handle - Otis Redding

I really love listening to Otis Redding's music because his voice is so good! This is another song I have been listening to that has a lot of energy and is really fun to sing along with. It is definitely one I have played a lot throughout December.

As always, I would love to know in the comments; what songs have you been loving this month?

P.S. This is the last post to go up before Christmas Day! So happy Christmas and I hope you have a lovely day!
