My Goals For March 2019

It always surprises me how fast the time goes between each of my Monthly Goals blog posts. Tomorrow will be the 1st March and so I thought I would sit down and write my goals for the month ahead. I love writing these blog posts and having them as a focus and to look back on. So, with that being said, here are my goals for March 2019.


Uni Work

I have a few goals in terms of my university work throughout this month. First of all, I want to (and need to haha) finish my current set of uni essays. I have 4 essays due on the 13th March, and ideally, I would like to have them finished a day or two before then – so fingers crossed that happens. Also, in March I would like to start my revision for exams. Because I had a gap year before I started uni and haven’t had to revise for nearly 2 years, I want to start my revision in March so that I can get used to the way I like to revise again and feel more confident towards the exams. These will also be my first university exams, so I would like to get a bit ahead on my revision, so I can get used to how I need to answer the questions as well. So, these are my aims with uni work throughout March.

Read a book

This might seem like quite a small goal to a lot of people, because I know some people read every day and get through several books throughout one month. But for me, even though I would love to read more, I never think to pick up a book and read when I have free time. I thought I would make an effort in March to read at least one good book. The book I have in mind is A Keeper by Graham Norton because I have been meaning to read that book for ages and have heard such good things about it.

Don’t start my day with social media

For ages now, the first thing I will do when I wake up is go straight onto my phone and scroll on social media. I think it would be nice to have an hour or so when I wake up without being online and it might help me feel more refreshed throughout my day. I have been trying to spend less time online (because I definitely spend way too much time than I probably should on social media), and so I think this will be a good way to help with that as well. I do love a lot about social media, but spending less time throughout my day online will definitely be a good thing.

I am going to stick to three goals for March, because I really want to focus on these three throughout the month.

  1. These are great goals, Eve Martha. I thought I was going to read about increasing traffic or something but this was more meaningful by far. Mine is to conjure up some more energy to increase my productivity. I wish us both luck!
