What I Eat In A Day - Wednesday


I always love reading blog posts or watching YouTube videos about food, new recipes and what different people enjoy eating throughout the day. I wouldn't claim myself to be the healthiest person in terms of food, however, I have been trying to eat somewhat healthier recently, and so thought I'd share what I have been eating in a day.

• Breakfast •
I really do think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, not only because it gives you energy for the rest of the day, but also if I start the day with a healthy breakfast, I have more of a chance of actually staying healthy throughout the day haha! So, for breakfast, I had natural yoghurt, topped with berry granola, fruit and lots of honey. This is one of my favourite breakfasts and I also have a glass of cloudy apple juice with it.




• Lunch •
For lunch, I had a boiled egg with buttered toast. I know this is more associated with a breakfast meal, but I really enjoy it because it’s very filling and also just tastes great! I like to put salt and pepper on the egg to add extra flavour.



• Snack •
I do have to say I have more than one snack and cup of tea a day, but I thought I’d put it all under one ‘snack’ title because I would just be repeating myself haha! So, for a snack I love to have a big cup of Yorkshire Tea, and a few biscuits. A cup of tea is something I never go through a day without and having biscuits or something with it is so tasty. In this case, I had some chocolate chip cookies.



• Dinner/Tea •
For dinner, I had some vegetable pasta bake with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese on top. It was so delicious, as what I love about pasta is that you can have any leftovers for lunch the next day. Also, you can put in whatever vegetables you have; we had peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and actually added some chorizo as well. I had some water and ice with this meal as well.
